It is with a heavy heart, I watch FOX News coverage today. Mostly because of the dark cloud that hangs over my toddler's future. But, no matter what her future may be in the political world... I KNOW she has been 'given' to God and He will see her through!
I was brought to tears when President Bush was introduced as a Bible believing Christian and it was mentioned that he had always turned to God for answers throughout his Presidency. Only that EVERY President of the United States of America would have and would continue to turn to the ONE and ONLY God of Heaven!
While unable to bring myself to watch the actual 'swearing in', I rest in the peace and knowledge that God is in control and I refuse to let Satan have a foothold in MY sould or home, for that matter! Let God arise... His enemies be scattered, is my prayer!
We're trusting and believing God that He will see America through the difficult days that lie ahead. If we as a nation (INCL. Mr. Obama) will do that, then God has promised good to us.The end is bound to come someday, but I'm just a bit selfish in wanting a lifetime with my husband, daughter and family.
I do not desire that my baby or any other Christian (within my lifetime) have to be 'put down' or worse for their religion.Let us keep our chins up in the coming days and may GOD BLESS AMERICA... not ONLY today, this year but ALWAYS!
Dear HSLDA Members and Friends of Homeschooling:
Since the election of Barack Obama as U.S. president, HSLDA has received more than a few calls from both members and nonmembers. Some are quite concerned about the future of homeschooling under an Obama presidency.First of all, let us always remember that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). He also instructs us to be wise, plan, and be prepared in everything we do.Despite HSLDA’s efforts prior to the election to get an official statement from the Obama campaign regarding their position on homeschooling, we received no response.
So where does that leave us?We do know that the Democratic Party has an official position of supporting public education. The National Education Association (NEA), which is the national teachers union, is a major supporter of the Democratic Party. We know that the NEA’s position is that every child should be either taught by a certified teacher or supervised by one. Additionally, their position is that the curriculum used by all homeschoolers should be approved by the state, and children should only be able to continue to be homeschooled based upon systematic evaluation by the state.
It is important to remember that under the United States Constitution, the federal government has no authority over private and home education. This is not to say that they will not attempt to exercise authority in these areas. And whenever private educators accept grants and benefits, there are conditions to receiving those benefits, including being subject to regulation.Just because the federal government has no constitutional authority over home education, however, doesn’t mean that federal bureaucrats or legislators might not attempt to impose some form of regulation over private and home education.
We saw this back in 1994, when the reauthorization of the Secondary and Elementary Act (H.R. 6) contained an amendment which would have conditioned funding to the states for public education to require that all teachers be certified in every subject area they teach. The homeschool community rose up; over a million phone calls were made to the U.S. Congress, and the amendment was defeated. During that process, Representative Dick Armey from Texas introduced an amendment which stated that the federal government and Congress have no authority over private and home education. This protective language was passed by the House of Representatives.
With your help and the help of homeschoolers all across America, we will vigorously resist any effort on the part of the federal government to regulate home education. Obviously, this will take resources—which come from our membership—and we would encourage our current members to continue standing with us, and encourage others to join us.An immediate concern to watch is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Although we do not know what Barack Obama’s specific position on the treaty is, we know that future Vice President Joe Biden has publicly indicated that this UN Convention should be ratified by the United States. It does appear that we will soon have the challenge of keeping the UN Convention from being ratified by the U.S. Senate, ratification requiring a two-thirds majority to pass.Should the UN Convention be ratified, it would impose the United Nation’s view of children’s rights on America. Under the U.S. Constitution, treaties become the Supreme Law of the land, taking precedent over state laws and state supreme court decisions. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is not in the best interest of parents or children, as it would undermine the parental authority that our laws currently recognize.
For further information on the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child visit ParentalRights.org.To summarize, homeschoolers should not live in fear, but we do need to be wise, and we will need to be vigilant to protect parental rights and homeschooling freedoms in the future. We stand prepared, with your help, to do that as we’ve done for 25 years.

(Below: The 2008 President of The United States... Proud American??? We think NOT!!!)
Barack Obama's election as America's first black president unleashed a global tide of admiration, hopes for change and even renewed love for the United States on Wednesday.
The president of Kenya declared a public holiday in Obama's honor, and people across Africa stayed up all night or woke before dawn to watch U.S. election history being made.
In Indonesia, where Obama lived as child, hundreds of students at his former elementary school erupted in cheers when he was declared winner and poured into the courtyard where they hugged each other, danced in the rain and chanted "Obama! Obama!"
"Your victory has demonstrated that no person anywhere in the world should not dare to dream of wanting to change the world for a better place," South Africa's first black president, Nelson Mandela, said in a letter of congratulations to Obama.
Rama Yade, France's black junior minister for human rights, told French radio: "On this morning, we all want to be American so we can take a bite of this dream unfolding before our eyes."
Many expressed amazement and satisfaction that the United States could overcome centuries of racial strife and elect an African-American — and one with Hussein as a middle name — as president.
"What an inspiration. He is the first truly global U.S. president the world has ever had," said Pracha Kanjananont, a 29-year-old Thai sitting at a Starbuck's in Bangkok. "He had an Asian childhood, African parentage and has a Middle Eastern name. He is a truly global president."
In an interconnected world where people in its farthest reaches could monitor the presidential race blow-by-blow, many observers echoed Obama's own campaign mantra as they struggled to put into words their sense that his election marked an important turning point.
"I really think this is going to change the world," gushed Akihiko Mukohama, 34, the lead singer of a band that traveled to Obama, Japan, to perform at a promotional event for the president-elect. He wore an "I Love Obama" T-shirt.
The magnitude and emotion of the world reaction illustrated the international character of the U.S. presidency. Many look to Washington as the place where the global issues of war and peace, prosperity or crisis, are decided.
"This is an enormous outcome for all of us," said John Wood, the former New Zealand ambassador to the U.S. "We have to hope and pray that President Obama can move forward in ways which are constructive and beneficial to all of us."
The Vatican said Wednesday it hoped Obama will work to promote peace and justice in the world.
Hopes were also high among those critical of President Bush's policies that an Obama victory would bring in a more inclusive, internationally cooperative U.S. approach. Many cited the Iraq war as the type of blunder Obama was unlikely to repeat.
Indeed, even as they raised expectations, many U.S.-watchers were quick to point out that Obama would have to confront enormous problems once in office: wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, tenacious difficulties in the Middle East and North Korea, a world economy in turmoil.
Europe, where Obama is overwhelmingly popular, is one region that looked eagerly to an Obama administration for a revival in warm relations after the Bush government's chilly rift with the continent over the Iraq war.
"At a time when we have to confront immense challenges together, your election raises great hopes in France, in Europe and in the rest of the world," French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in a congratulations letter to Obama.
Some South Koreans said they hoped Obama — who has said he favors direct engagement with North Korea — would press North Korean leader Kim Jong Il on human rights issues and the alleged kidnappings of hundreds of South Koreans.
Skepticism, however, was high in the Muslim world. The Bush administration alienated those in the Middle East by mistreating prisoners at its detention center for terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and inmates at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison — human rights violations also condemned worldwide.
Some Iraqis, who have suffered through five years of a war ignited by the United States and its allies, said they would believe positive change when they saw it.
"Obama's victory will do nothing for the Iraqi issue nor for the Palestinian issue," said Muneer Jamal, a Baghdad resident. "I think all the promises Obama made during the campaign will remain mere promises."
In Pakistan, a country vital to the U.S.-led war on the al-Qaida terrorist network and neighbor to Afghanistan, many hoped Obama would bring some respite from rising militant violence that many blame on Bush.
Still, Mohammed Arshad, a 28-year-old schoolteacher in the capital, Islamabad, doubted Obama's ability to change U.S. foreign policy dramatically.
"It is true that Bush gave America a very bad name. He has become a symbol of hate. But I don't think the change of face will suddenly make any big difference," he said.
Still, many around the world found Obama's international roots — his father was Kenyan, and he lived four years in Indonesia as a child — compelling and attractive.
Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki declared a public holiday on Thursday in honor of Obama's election victory, and people across Africa stayed up all night or woke before dawn Wednesday to watch the U.S. election results roll in.
"He's in!" said Rachel Ndimu, 23, a business student who joined hundreds of others at the residence of the U.S. ambassador in Nairobi. "I think this is awesome, and the whole world is backing him."
In Jakarta, hundreds of students at his former elementary school gathered around a television set to watch as results came in, erupting in cheers when he was declared winner and then pouring into the courtyard where they hugged each other and danced in the rain.
"We're so proud!" Alsya Nadin, a spunky 10-year-old in pink-framed glasses, said as her classmates chanted "Obama! Obama!"
We have only ONE thing to say, "God Help Us All"! The End Times are upon us for sure... is it possible that God will find faith on the earth at His sure-to-be SOON return? One thing is for certain, FAITH is very low amongst Christians at this time, as we are all very fearful but, NO MATTER what may happen now, we're trusting GOD for the days ahead! Especially for the children and grandchildren of today!!!
With one day to go before Election Day polls show Obama leading in Pennsylvania and other key states. Nationally, several major polls indicate Obama has a 7 to 8 percentage-point advantage. But these same polls also show the race tightening.

Political humor has come to play an increasingly important role in our election process.
Shows like “Saturday Night Live,” “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “The Colbert Report With Stephen Colbert” and late night comedies such as Leno, Letterman, Ferguson, Kimmel and O’Brien have more impact on framing the political discussions than the news shows do.
Don’t be afraid of that — welcome it.
Parodies of political humor can’t happen in a vacuum — they only work when they take something that is true and turn up the volume to point out its absurdity or audacity.
A political parody can’t create an issue, it can only bring attention to its inconsistencies or its ironies and make us laugh to keep from being mad about it.
The political humor that we get is not a distraction from the truth, it might be the closest thing to the real truth we actually get.

Instead of spreading wealth around, John McCain & Sarah Palin will spread opportunity.
Barack Obama will raise taxes on hardworking Americans to give a government handout to the 40% of Americans who pay no income taxes.
John McCain and Sarah Palin have an economic plan that celebrates the American dream of opportunity, not government giveaways. In this country, we believe in spreading opportunity, for those who need jobs and those who create them. While Barack Obama is ready to "spread the wealth around," John McCain has a plan to get our economy moving so everyone has access to good jobs, a quality education and the opportunity to succeed.
John McCain and Sarah Palin don't just talk about change ... they deliver.
The next President won't have time to get used to the office. America faces many challenges here at home, and many enemies abroad in this dangerous world. We cannot spend the next four years as we have spent much of the last eight: hoping for our luck to change at home and abroad. We need a new direction, and John McCain and Sarah Palin will fight for it.
We can trust John McCain and Sarah Palin because they are reformers with a record who stand by their words and will always put their country first.Time and time again this team of mavericks has stood up, taken on tough issues and delivered. They're the real deal. They have a clear record that can deliver results, not just rhetoric that delivers votes.
Take a moment and review where the candidates stand on the issues and then be sure to download this page to give to others, find out how to cast your vote now or on Election Day and tell others why they should vote for John McCain.
John McCain believes we must keep taxes low to reward hard work and create jobs for all Americans.
Barack Obama wants to "spread the wealth around" and is more interested in controlling who gets your piece of the pie than he is in growing the pie.
John McCain has a comprehensive economic plan that will create millions of good American jobs, ensure our nation's energy security, get the government's budget and spending practices in order, and bring relief to American consumers
The Obama tax increase would come at the worst possible time for America, and especially for small businesses like the one Joe the Plumber dreams of owning. The small businesses Senator Obama would tax provide 16 million jobs in America. And a sudden tax hike for those businesses will kill jobs at a time when we need to be creating more jobs.
John McCain will break from the past to lead a great national campaign to put us on a course for energy independence. No problem is more urgent today than our dependence on foreign oil.
Barack Obama voted for the same policies that created the problem. He voted for the energy bill promoted by President Bush and Vice President Cheney, which gave even more breaks to the oil industry.
John McCain will make health care more available, affordable and responsive to patients and he will give families more choices over their care.
Barack Obama's plan will harm employer coverage, continues the push toward government-run health care and will damage private coverage.
John McCain has a record of working to end Washington's stagnant, unproductive partisanship. He will end wasteful government spending and put the government back on the side of the American people.
The American people have not seen Barack Obama forsake partisanship for progress. In his short time in the Senate, Congressional Quarterly shows he voted with the Democrat Party 97 percent of the time.
John McCain is committed to and has long fought for restoring fiscal discipline by eliminating wasteful government spending. Out of control spending has resulted in a weaker dollar, raising the cost of groceries and gas and killing jobs. John McCain will rein in federal spending to help our families in tough economic times. Barack Obama plans to increase spending by nearly a trillion dollars. Already in three short years in the Senate, he has requested nearly a billion dollars in pork projects for his state and has been an eager participant in this corrupt system.
John McCain will shake up failed school bureaucracies with competition, empower parents with choice, remove barriers to qualified instructors, attract and reward good teachers.
Barack Obama wants our schools to answer to unions and entrenched bureaucracies.
John McCain had the judgment to understand that America's strategy in Iraq was failing and the courage to call for a dramatic change. That strategy is now working, and America is succeeding in Iraq
Barack Obama opposed the new strategy and predicted wrongly that it would fail. He voted to deny critical funds to our men and women fighting in Iraq.
"HYMNS TO HITLER"
(Posted by: Lori Kalner on Wednesday, October 01, 2008)
In Germany , when Hitler came to power, it was a time of terrible financial depression. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs, just like in the American Depression in the 1930s, which we have read about in Thoene's Shiloh books. In those days, in my homeland, Adolph Hitler was elected to power by promising 'Change.' He blamed the 'Zionists' around the world for all our problems. He told everyone it was greedy Zionist Bankers who had caused every problem we had. He promised when he was leader, the greedy Zionist bankers would be punished. The Zionists, he promised, would be wiped off the face of the earth. So Hitler was elected to power by only 1/3 the popular vote. A coalition of other political parties in parliament made him supreme leader. Then, when he was leader, he disgraced and expelled everyone in parliament who did not go along with him. Yes. Change came to my homeland as the new leader promised it would.
The teachers in German schools began to teach the children to sing songs in praise of Hitler. This was the beginning of the Hitler Youth movement. It began with praise of the Fuhrer's programs on the lips of innocent children. Hymns in praise of Hitler and his programs were being sung in the schoolrooms and in the play yard. Little girls and boys joined hands and sang these songs as they walked home from school. My brother came home and told Papa what was happening at school. The political hymns of children proclaimed Change was coming to our homeland and the Fuhrer was a leader we could trust. I will never forget my father's face. Grief and fear. He knew that the best propaganda of the Nazis was song on the lips of little children. That evening before he said grace at the dinner table, he placed his hands upon the heads of my brothers and me and prayed the Living Word upon us from Jeremiah 1:4-5. 'Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to The nations.'
Soon the children's songs praising the Fuhrer were heard everywhere on the streets and over the radio. 'With our Fuhrer to lead us, we can do it! We can change the world!' Soon after that Papa, a pastor, was turned away from visiting elderly parishioners in hospitals. The people he had come to bring comfort of God's Word, were 'no longer there.' Where had they vanished to while under nationalized health care?
It became an open secret. The elderly and sick began to disappear from hospitals feet first as 'mercy killing' became the policy. Children with disabilities and those who had Down syndrome were euthanized. People whispered, 'Maybe it is better for them now. Put them out of misery. They are no longer suffering. And, of course, their death is better for the treasury of our nation. Our taxes no longer must be spent to care for such a burden.' And so murder was called mercy. The government took over private business. Industry and health care were 'nationalized.' (NA-ZI means National Socialist Party) The businesses of all Jews were seized. (Perhaps you remember our story in Berlin on Krystalnacht in the book Munich Signature)
The world and God's word were turned upside down. Hitler promised the people economic Change?
Not change. It was, rather, Lucifer's very ancient Delusion leading to Destruction. What began with the propaganda of children singing a catchy tune ended in the deaths of millions of children. The reality of what came upon us is so horrible that you in this present generation cannot imagine it. Our suffering is too great to ever tell in a book or show in a black and white newsreel.
When I spoke to Bodie about some of these things, she wept and said she could not bear to write them. Perhaps one day she will, but I asked her, 'who could bear to read our suffering?' Yet with my last breaths I warn every Christian and Jew now in the name of the Lord, Unless your course of the church in America is spiritually changed now, returning to the Lord, there are new horrors yet to come.
"HYMNS TO OBAMA"
There are so few of us left to warn you. I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians. Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote? Do you vote based on an abortionist's empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible? Thus says the Lord about every living child still in the womb.
'Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.'
I have experienced the signs of the politics of Death in my youth. I see them again now. Christians! Unless you stand up now, you will lose your freedom of religion. In America priests and preachers have already lost their freedom to speak openly from their pulpits of moral danger in political candidates. They cannot legally instruct you of which candidate holds fast to the precepts of scripture! American law forbids this freedom of speech to conservative pastors or they will lose their 'tax exempt' status. And yet I have heard the words of Obama's pastor Damning America! I have heard the words of Obama damning and mocking all of you in small towns because you 'Cling to your religion.' But I am a woman whose name is unknown. My life is recorded as a work of fiction. I have no fear of reprisal when I speak truth to you from the pages of a book. (Though the Zion Covenant books are mocked and condemned by the Left in America .)
I am an old woman and will soon go to be with my Lord. I have no fear for myself, but for all of you and for your children, I tremble. I tremble at the hymns to a political leaders which your children will sing at school. (Though even now a hymn or a prayer to God and our Lord Jesus is against the law in public school!)
Your vote must put a stop to what will come upon America if Barrack Obama is elected. I pray you will personally heed this warning for the sake of your children and your grandchildren. Do not be deceived. The Lord in Jeremiah 1:7-8 commands every believer to speak up!
'Do not say, 'I am only a youth,' for to all whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them for I am with you, declares the Lord!'
I am in Prayer for you, and for the Church! Spoken to you in the authority of Jesus the Christ, the Name Above All Names.
SO FREEDOM IS NOT FREE... THE MARINES WANT THIS TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.!
This is very interesting and we all need to read it from Start to Finish and send it on to anyone who will read it. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American? This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in for 20 years. The following is his reply: Theologically - no. . . Because his allegiance is to Allah, The moon God of Arabia. Religiously - no. . . Because no other religion is accepted by His Allah except Islam , 2:256 (Koran) Scripturally - no. . . Because his allegiance is to the of Islam and the Quran. Geographically - no .. Because his allegiance is to Mecca, to which he turns in prayer five times a day. Socially - no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews . Politically - no. . . Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America, the great Satan. Domestically - no. . . Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34) Intellectually - no. . . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt. Philosophically - no. . . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic. Spiritually - no. . . Because when we declare 'One nation under God,' the Christian's God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran's 99 excellent names. Therefore, after much study and deliberation.... Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country??? They obviously cannot be both 'good' Muslims and 'good' Americans. Call it what you wish it's still the truth. You had better believe it. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. The is bigger than we know or understand. . . And Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim, wants to be our President? You have GOT to be kidding! ! Obama even says if he wins the election, he will be sworn in on the Quran---not a Bible! Footnote: He was sworn in on the Quran for his current office in Senate and he refuses to pledge allegiance to the United States or put his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played!
The Muslims have said they will destroy us from within. Hello! Having a Muslim president would seem to fit the bill! Will you trust this man with our national secrets?
"You will know them by their fruit." Matt. 7:20 . Their voting record is public information.
- Shedding innocent blood. (abortion)
- Same Sex marriage
Personal Note: The Church's Job, Josh? Proclaim the truth! Politics is not off limits when it involves truth proclamation. Jesus, while on this earth exposed the lies in politicians and priests. Thus, His Word guides us in our choice of a Candidate(s) and our choice of church. Pick Biblical ones in both categories!!!

"McCain Best Choice For Uncertain Times" Editorial Detroit News October 23, 2008
In light of the hoopla surrounding Gen. Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama, I thought I would let you know of a few of John McCain's supporters.
Why isn't this all over the media?!?!?!
Norman Schwarzkopf Endorses McCain:
John McCain earned the endorsement of Gulf War commander Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf. FOXNews.com posted: Wednesday, January 23, 2008
John McCain earned the endorsement of Gulf War commander Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf Wednesday. Schwarzkopf, who with McCain in 2004 was openly critical of then-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld over his handling of the Iraq war, said in a statement the Arizona senator "has served our country with honor in war and in peace.""He has demonstrated the type of courageous leadership our country sorely needs at this time. For that reason, he has my complete support," he said. McCain is in a tight race for the Republican presidential nomination, but most polls show him leading the pack following his wins in New Hampshire and South Carolina. He and his rivals are in Florida Wednesday ahead of the state's primary on Tuesday. It is not clear whether Schwarzkopf will campaign with McCain, as former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger has done. McCain thanked Schwarzkopf in a statement, saying, "General Norman Schwarzkopf's distinguished lifetime of service and uncommon devotion to our nation has earned him the respect and admiration of the American people. I am honored by his support."
McCain gets support from former secretaries of state:
By Klaus Marre Posted: 04/10/07 10:54 AM [ET]
Four former secretaries of state announced Tuesday they are endorsing Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president, providing his campaign with a needed boost. Henry Kissinger, retired Gen. Alexander Haig, Lawrence Eagleburger and George Shultz all said they would support McCain. The former heads of the State Department said the senator’s leadership skills, his record and his vision make him the right choice for president in difficult times.“The world’s challenges are radically changing and our country needs John McCain’s experience and optimism,” said Kissinger, who served as secretary of state from 1973 to 1977 and won a Nobel Prize for his efforts to end the Vietnam War.“His record, character, and belief that America’s best days lie ahead make John McCain the right leader for these times,” added Kissinger. The war in Iraq and the fight against terrorism are central issues in the election, and getting the backing of experienced foreign policy officials could help McCain’s struggling campaign. The senator finished only third in first-quarter fundraising and was also criticized for recent remarks he made in Iraq. “John McCain has spent his life serving this country on the battlefield and in Congress,” said Eagleburger, who served as secretary of state under the current president’s father. “As our country adjusts to new challenges, John McCain’s experience and record as a common-sense conservative make him the best candidate for our country’s future. ”McCain said he was proud of the support, adding that he and the former secretaries of state “share optimism in America and dedication to winning the war on terror.”
The endorsement came in part of the Chicago Tribune column called "Mark My Word," where Chicago leaders praised their favorite current books.
Ayers book had just recently been published by Beacon Press.
The blogger noted that Ayers, in his book, also mentioned Obama.
Ayers' wrote: "Our neighbors include Muhammad Ali, former mayor Eugene Sawyer, poets Gwendolyn Brooks and Elizabeth Alexander, and writer Barack Obama. Minister Louis Farrakhan lives a block from our home and adds, we think, a unique dimension to the idea of 'safe neighborhood watch': the Fruit of Islam, his security force, has an eye on things twenty-four-hours a day."
The TITLE of the book Obama is reading is called "The Post-American World", written by a fellow muslim. Post-America?? That means After America is no longer? His intentions for ruling America along with his "friends" is pretty obvious from the literature he is studying up on!
Why I Can't Vote For Obama...
By Huntley Brown (fabulous concert pianist, man of God and is a man of color.)
Dear Friends, A few months ago I was asked for my perspective on Obama, I sent out an email with a few points. With the election just around the corner I decided to complete my perspective. Those of you on my e-list have seen some of this before but it's worth repeating... First I must say whoever wins the election will have my prayer support. Obama needs to be commended for his accomplishments but I need to explain why I will not be voting for him. Many of my friends process their identity through their blackness. I process my identity through Christ. Being a Christian (a Christ follower) means He leads, I follow. I can't dictate the terms, He does because He is the leader.I can't vote black because I am black; I have to vote Christian because that's who I am. Christian first, black second. Neither should anyone from other ethnic groups vote because of ethnicity. 200 years from now I won't be asked if I was black or white. I will be asked if I knew Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior. In an election there are many issues to consider but when a society gets abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning - to name a few, then wrong economic concerns will soon not matter. We need to follow Martin Luther King's words, "don't judge someone by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." I don't know Obama, so all I can go on is his voting record. His voting record earned him the title of the most liberal senator in the US Senate in 2007... NATIONAL JOURNAL: Obama: Most Liberal Senator in 2007 (01/31/2008) To beat Ted Kennedy and Hilary Clinton as the most liberal senator, takes some doing. Obama accomplished this feat in 2 short years. I wonder what would happen to America if he had four years to work with. There is a reason Planned Parenthood gives him a 100 % rating. There is a reason the homosexual community supports him. There is a reason Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, Hamas etc. love him. There is a reason he said he would nominate liberal judges to the Supreme Court. There is a reason he voted against the infanticide bill. There is a reason he voted "No" on the constitutional ban of same-sex marriage. There is a reason he voted "No" on banning partial birth abortion. There is a reason he voted "No" on confirming Justices Roberts and Alito. These two judges are conservatives and they have since overturned partial birth abortion. The same practice Obama wanted to continue.Let's take a look at the practice he wanted to continue. The 5 Step Partial Birth Abortion procedures: A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.(Remember this is a live baby)B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors arethen opened to enlarge the hole.E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child'sbrains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is thenremoved.God help him. There is a reason Obama opposed the parental notification law.Think about this: You can' not give a child an aspirin without parental notification but that same child can have an abortion without parental notification. This is insane. There is a reason Obama went to Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years.Obama tells us he has good judgment, but he sat under Jeremiah Wright's teaching for 20 years. Now he is condemning Wright's sermons. I wonder why now? Obama said Jeremiah Wright led him to the Lord and discipled him. A disciple is one in training. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 - 20 "Go and make disciples of all nations." This means reproduce yourself. Teach people to think like you, walk like you; talk like you believe what you believe etc.The question I have is what did Jeremiah Wright teach him? Would you support a White President who went to a church which has tenets that said they have a 1.Commitment to the White Community 2.Commitment to the White Family3.Adherence to the White Work Ethic 4.Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills availableto the White Community.5.Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources forStrengthening and Supporting White Institutions 6.Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace theWhite Value System 7. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.Would you support a President who went to a church like that?Just change the word from white to black and you have the tenets of Obama's former church. If President Bush was a member of a church like this, he would be called a racist. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been marching outside. This kind of church is a racist church. Obama did not wake up after 20 years and just discover he'd been going to a racist church. The TRUE church can't be about race. Jesus did not come for any particular race. He came for the whole world.A church can't have a value system based on race. The churches value system has to be based on biblical mandates. It does not matter if it's a white church or a black church based on racial values, it's still wrong. Anyone from either race that attends a church like this would never get my vote.Obama's former Pastor Jeremiah Wright is a disciple of liberal theologian James Cone, author of the 1970 book "the goals of the black community". If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.Cone is the man Obama's mentor looks up to.Does Obama believe this? So what does all this mean for the nation? In the past when the Lord brought someone with the beliefs of Obama to lead a nation it meant one thing - judgment.Read 1 Samuel 8 when Israel asked for a king. First God says in 1 Samuel 1:9 "Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do." Then God says:1 Samuel 1:18 " When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day." 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. "No!" they said. "We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles." 21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, "Listen to them and give them a king." Here is what we know for sure. God is not schizophrenicHe would not tell one person to vote for Obama and one to vote for McCain. As the scripture says, a city divided against itself cannot stand, so obviously many people are not hearing from God. Maybe I am the one not hearing but I know God does not change and Obama contradicts many things I read in scripture so I doubt it.For all my friends who are voting for Obama can you really look God in the face and say; Father ,based on your word, I am voting for Obama even though I know he will continue the genocidal practice of partial birth abortion. He might have to nominate three or four Supreme Court justices, and I am sure he will be nominating liberal judges who will be making laws that are against you. I also know he will continue to push for homosexual rights, even though you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this. I know I can look the other way because of the economy.I could not see Jesus agreeing with many of Obama's positions. Finally I have two questions for all my liberal friends.Since we know someone's value system has to be placed on the nation, 1. Whose value system should be placed on the nation.2.Who should determine that this is the right value system for the nation?Blessings, Huntley Brown

God Bless America and The Choices We Will Soon Be Making... Vote for the RIGHT in 2008
"I will outline just a few of the reasons to vote FOR John McCain (whether you are a christian or not).First, McCain is a proven loyal American (war vet, political service, etc). Second, he wants to lower taxes on ALL Americans. This will help spur the economy. Third, he is pro-life. Fourth, he is for second amendment rights (guns). Fifth, he is against the "fairness" doctrine. Sixth, he is for nuclear power and domestic oil drilling. Seventh, he is for traditional marriage (one man, one woman). Eighth, he is against socialized medicine. Ninth, he has a proven history of cutting government spending. Tenth, he is against embryonic stem cell research and usage. Here are a few reasons to vote AGAINST Obama. One, to raise taxes on the wealthy will only be passed on to the consumer through higher prices. This is the most destructive thing that can be done when the economy is as bad as it is at present. Second, "birds of a feather, flock together"... His associations with Bill Ayers, "Rev." Wright, Resko and others is concerning. Muslim terrorist groups have said they will take us down from the inside. From his associations with the likes of his "friends" he appears to be at least sympathetic with them. Third, he is pro abortion and infanticide. Fourth, his record is always against energy independence regardless of what he is saying now. Fifth, he is for strict gun control. Sixth, he is for the "fairness" doctrine. Seventh, he is for "civil unions", which is just gay marriage by a different name. Eighth, he is for socialized medicine. Ninth, he has voted for tax increases every time he has had a chance in the U.S. Senate. Tenth, he is for embryonic stem cell research and usage.I could go into much detail with any of these along with others, but I think you get the point. Any of these can be googled for more info." ~D.R. Eckert
"But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him." (Psalm 37:39)
SPECIAL NOTE FROM YET ANOTHER FRIEND:
“ NEWS… ‘McCain-Palin 2008’ today announced that more than 100 former U.S. ambassadors are endorsing Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin for president and vice president.
Democrat Mark W. Erwin, a former Hillary Clinton supporter and an ambassador during the Clinton administration, is co-chair of the group. ‘I will vote for John McCain because the differences between the two candidates are so vast and profound,’ he said. 'Senator Obama does not have sufficient leadership experience, nor has he been tested in difficult times,’ Erwin said in his endorsement.“
... A Man Like Sen. Obama To Be Voted In As President? The odds are NOT good. God does not take well to a Country who defies His Holy Word...
